Who the hell opened my window? My eyes are barely open, but the sun somehow found its way into them, shining away any lingering hint of sleep. A blurry figure stood fidgeting with items on my desk. Hearing me, the figure turns around revealing Nikki's familiar face. Exhaling with relief, I sit up. I'm in bed...
"You're okay!" My friend exclaimed and threw her arms around me. I hugged her back confused.
"What happened? Why are you here?"
"You missed classes today. I wanted to make sure you didn't get sick." an innocent smile followed her words.
"Oh." I raise my hand to touch my head, but pull away at contact. It feels bruised. Nikki noticed and frowned.
"I found you on the ground." she said in a low serious voice. "What were you doing last night?"
"I'd like to know too." I said looking out the window. No more words were spoken. neither of us knew what happened so we didn't anything to say.
A knock at the door sounded. Nikki answered, letting in Mary and Jazz. They bounced up to me informing me on everything that happened during classes today. Nikki hung around near the end of my bed eyeing something on my desk. I turn my focus back to the chattering girls before me.
"Seriously Courtney you should have been there!" Jazz said with a slight shade of red on her cheeks. Mary chimed in "Yeah, there were new students!"
"From around here?" I ask her.
"Kinda.. Well, there's a girl and her twin brothers. She said that when they were young their parents took them away from Wizard City, but the three came back on their own when they were" she paused. "abandoned."
"Oh." Probably the stupidest thing to say. I try to leave the uneasy topic. "What school?"
Jazz decides to take a turn gossiping "I know the girl is Storm. Her name is Taryn. She said her brothers are Fire and Ice." She thinks a moment then continues talking, gradually increasing her speed. "I don't get it 'cause that's three different schools derived from the two parent schools. But anyway, isn't it kinda funny that the twins are opposites? I thought it was funny. You know what's not funny? How gorgeous the fire twin is!" Mary nudged Jazz in the ribs. She moves away from Mary. "Hey- he's hot! No pun intended."
I laughed with them. Nikki slowly joined the conversation and began sharing things she knew about the new students. It was a relaxing time, however there was a lingering feeling of uneasiness.

Chapter 3: Lovely Dream
The cliff walls around me echo mockingly. I walk, no- stroll slowly in this barren land. My eyes spot something in the distance... I begin to run toward it, but stop as I recognize the figure. It's a person, wait... it's a perfect mirror image of myself... naked? I study the girl who looks like me.
You can see a heart, with a network of veins through porcelain skin. She is enclosed in some sort of womb, but her heart beats pushing WHITE blood through the tiny pale lines.
It almost looks peaceful, until she opens her eyes revealing empty sockets, and begins screaming. A shrill noise that would make anyone lose thier hearing, however the sound doesn't hurt me.
Her head twists back in an inhuman way and she screams louder, and louder.
Suddenly, a huge sword bursts through back of the womb and the back my mirror image. The body seizes and her once white blood tunred BLACK and began to cover my face and body. Both me and the girl collapse to the ground. Behind us is the familiar cloaked person.
The 'Me-creature' coughs up blood... and I do too. I can't control myself... It's almost as if I am feeling what she is feeling.
The mysterious person comes closer and raises his sword above me, ready to thrust it into my chest. My eyes close instinctively waiting for death to welcome me.
But it doesn't.
I open my eyes to another setting. A white place full of warm feelings. I turn my head and face a boy about my age. He has gorgeous pale blue hair, white eyes, and huge angel wings. I am drawn to his aura. He glows a gold shade and welcomes me with open arms.
As I get closer, the boy leans his face toward mine. It feels like I have known, and loved him my whole life. At that moment our lips meet. I close my eyes and enjoy the rivers of love and happiness flowing from each of our lips.
He pulls away and backs up. I try to follow, but a force keeps me away.
Just as I was about to lose myself, something taps my shoulder. I turn and come face to face with my dead (and still naked) clone. The once empty eye sockets were filled with a pair of colorful eyes.
She grabs both of my hands and intertwines my fingers with her icy ones. Electricity moves between our hands, up our arms and into our hearts. Her expression doesn't change. We stare at one and other wondering what will happen next.
In my peripheral vision, I watch as the surrounding melt, and reassemble. The white eyed boy disappears, but his feelings of warmth still fill me.
This time we are on top of a Sky Scraper. Now, it's a living world... Earth... Cars fly past other cars, and ignorant people walk the sidewalks. Dropping one of my hands, my clone leads me to the ledge. We both stand there.
And then she jumps pulling me with her. My body goes limp and my perfect mirror image embraces me. In the midst of falling, she looks at me and speaks "Moriamur coram Deo..."
Before we hit the ground, she brought herself into me literally merging her being with mine.
...
My eyes flick open. I recall the end of my mysterious dream.
'Moriamur coram Deo...'
Hmm. What she said was obviously not in English...
I scan my room. A rose is on my desk. You would think it's the black one that had disappeared. But this one is glowing gold.
As I walk over to examine it, something hits my head, and I blackout.

Chapter 2: Welcome to the World
If it wasn't clear enough, I live in the infamous Wizard City at my dingy student dormitory. I suppose being a level 60 Necromancer I don't have to live there, but my other houses have no real funiture, unfortunatley.
Anyhow, I realize I indirectly implied my existance is a burden to myself in the last chapter... that's not entirely the case. I have many friends who keep me grounded: Nicole DaisySinger, Jasmine WildFlower, Mary RavenGem,Victoria LifeBringer, Austin SwiftHorn and Wolf DeathBringer.
There's rarely any drama between us, but when there is it can get fierce. I tend to brush it off, or serve as a mediator.
I guess to sum it up, all my friends are goofy and fun to be with. Nikki is my soul sister, Jazz and Mary are creative, bubbly people, Victoria (Ted) is an insanly hilarious girl with a simple mind, Austin is ... well Austin, and Wolf is almost like my personal Happy Pill. Always sarcastic and mischievous. Keeping me from jumping over the edge.
Edge..
My dream rang through my head. The scene where I plummet toward my sharp death...
I shiver.
Nikki looks at me with a motherly concern
"Corny, how are you cold?" She asks in curiousity. It's Summer, and we're outside, thus making it nearly imposible to be cold.
"Oh, it's nothing... I just remembered something" I lied. I hated lying to her. I love Nikki so much. She looks at me a little bit longer clearly not buying my lie, but she knows I'll talk to her when I feel like it.
I remain quiet through most of my friends conversations and only speak when I am adressed.
At one point, someone pokes my side. Instictively I cringe away and half giggle-half whimper. It's Wolf. I smile at him. He bugs me a little bit longer, then turns to Mary, Jazz and Austin. Sometimes I am shocked at how lucky I am to have him as my friend. Or as we decided, my grandmother. Losing intrest in him, I flock over toward Nikki. I feel just as lucky to know her too. If anything happened to her, it would tear me apart.
"Nikki!" I call out. A smile flashes across her beautiful face and she runs at me. I stop walking toward her and begin bracing myself for one of her special glomps. We hit the ground hugging oddly and laughing.
"Hi Corny" She says happily. We begin talking. She tells me about something Wolf said. I guess his sarcasm was laid on extra heavy that time. He's such a guy.
"That's Wolf being Wolf" I'm not sounding too convincing. Nikki stares into space, so I add "That's how he shows affection"
"Hmm" Her eyelids half close as she wonders about her lovers quirky ways and just like that, the matter was back in her hands.
...
Sunset. I should go home. Part of me is afraid to be alone. I haven't recieved a Message since this morning...
I say my goodbye's to my friends, Hugging everyone who wanted one and flashing them a fake smile.
...
The darkness in my dorm screams at me. My hands tremble as I reach for the door knob. I get closer and closer until the door knob burns my fingertips. I hold onto it, breathing unevenly as pulses of heat throb up my arm and into my shoulder.
I turn the knob slowly, my hand feeling as if it were on fire. But when I finally push my door open, I find that my room is Ice cold and the black rose is gone.
Something heavy appears in my pocket. I reach in, and grab the contents. It's a piece of Onyx. My eyes study it for a moment. A letter is etched in the side... P
P...
What would P stand for?
I grow bored of the gem and crawl into bed, not bothering to change my clothes.
My head suddenly feels as if it weighs a ton. My eyelids flutter and I drift into unconsciousness.

it's MEEEE :))
so, um, this blog is where I'll confess everything I have secretly thought about my life in Wizards 101 along with a kickass story line. If you dont like my thoughts, go ahead and de-friend me, it's okay.
To my true friends, I hope you'll still accept me as I am despite my constant mask. YAY STORY TIME :)

Chapter 1: Nightmare (a rather short chapter)
I seize to the side of my bed and suddenly smash into the dirty wood flooring.
What the hell?!
My body ignites with energy although, truthfully, I feel like surrendering. But my pride is too big for that. With muscles tensed, and I leap into the air bracing myself for some enemy to come at me. I rub my eyes and look around. Nothing is here... I must have had a nightmare again. I recount the events of my dream that I could remember:
I stare into the face of Wolf DeathBringer. My best friend... He offers a hug. But I take more than that. I completely let down my guard and cry into his shoulder. My sobs echo in the dead world. Everyone I love is suddenly gone... except him. I continue to weep, but he crumbles into dust, as if he were a poorly made puppet. One second I was filled comfort... and the next, I was alone.
My mouth opens and I shreik into the blackend world. Hot waves electricity flow from my body.
Suddenly I'm in a new setting. Before me is a person in a black hooded cloak. The masked person suddenly slashes me with a huge scythe and thier hood falls behind them. My body limply falls. As I become engulfed my burning blood, I vaguely see the face of my attacker and with every oucne of strength I might have posessed, I stand, and make an effort to lunge toward him. But I end up sending myself off the side of a cliff... falling, falling... right toward the sharpest rock I have ever seen.
Could that dream mean I'll lose people close to me? And what about the part where I die? Ugh... maybe I watch too many horror films...?
The clocks reads 4:40 am. I don't think I'll get back to sleep, so I decide to leave my dorm and walk around Ravenwood's georgeous stone paths. Bartleby is in a sleep-like trance and doesn't notice me slipping between shadows. I venture over toward the death school remains. Malistaire sure did a number of damage here... The power that man must've had-
My body tembles and a presence flows into me. Ah crap. Not again.
A bit of background: I can contact the dead... actually, the dead can contact me. Which is approprite, I suppose. I AM of the Death school. Anyhow, my family has this ability to receive visions from spirits. It was cool the first few times, but now it doesn't amuse me.
The Spirit show me a Black Rose, and a piece of Onyx.
I return to normal, holding a black rose.
Dawn peeks around the horizon and it's time to prep for the day.
7 long hours of learning the art of death. Whoope.
So what did the Black Rose mean...?
What the hell?!
